America’s favorite pastime is back in full swing, with many of the nation’s top teams taking center stage as winter gives way to spring. Among the highlights during these warmer months is high school baseball, where standout programs from across the country are gearing up to hit the diamond. These talented squads are ready to lace up their cleats, grab their gloves, and swing their bats for another exciting season.

The seventh set of rankings finally sees change when it comes to which state the top team comes from. A Florida team takes over the No. 1 spot as the Venice Indians jumps to the top of this week’s rankings.

) (21-1) The Venice Indians (21-1) made a legitimate case for the top spot in the country, as they have bounced back from their one-run loss to Orange Lutheran (Calif. ) at the National High School Invitational. Venice was able to return to the Sunshine State and notch victories over Barron Collier and Bishop Verot.
