FSU has positioned itself well with in-state defensive lineman
Florida State has made themselves one of the top schools in the recruitment of 2027 three-star defensive lineman Jason Lewis.
Florida State offered 2027 three-star defensive lineman Jason Lewis back in February, and then they hosted him for a spring practice in March. The 6-foot-4, 260-pounder was back on campus for another practice on Saturday. Before he left Tallahassee, Lewis had good things to say about his time with the program as he and his family spent time with several members of the coaching staff.
"Getting back to see a practice, really not even a practice, a scrimmage, it was great to be down here," Lewis told Noles247 . "I just enjoyed myself. Got to see the guys flying around.
Got to see Coach T-Knight [Terrance Knighton], Coach Nick Will [Nick Williams] and Coach [Tony] White just be themselves and coach. It's just amazing to be back down here. " Lewis explained his reasoning for coming back to see the Seminoles.
"I've only been here [twice]. I wanted to get back down here because I really wanted to feel the vibe," Lewis said. "I didn't just want to see one practice and not see everything.
