What is Balenciaga? Dawn Staley outfit for South Carolina vs UCLA NCAA championship

South Carolina women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley is wearing a Balenciaga jacket that's from the brand's "Basketball Series,” ahead of the 2026 national championship game. m. ET, ABC). Balenciaga is a luxury fashion brand, named after Spanish designer Cristóbal Balenciaga.

The brand was founded in 1917, now based in Paris. Cristóbal died in 1972. Staley also wore a Balenciaga shirt and jacket the second round of March Madness when the Gamecocks defeated Southern Cal 101-61.

Staley is known for wearing other luxury brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Dior and Chanel. South Carolina and Staley are looking to win their fourth straight national championship.
