South Carolina women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley is wearing a Balenciaga jacket that's from the brand's "Basketball Series,” ahead of the 2026 national championship game. The black Balenciaga jacket says the brand's name with "01" in white letters on the front. The Gamecocks (36-3) are set to take on UCLA (36-1) on April 5 (3:30 p.
m. ET, ABC). Balenciaga is a luxury fashion brand, named after Spanish designer Cristóbal Balenciaga.
The brand was founded in 1917, now based in Paris. Cristóbal died in 1972. Staley also wore a Balenciaga shirt and jacket the second round of March Madness when the Gamecocks defeated Southern Cal 101-61.
Staley is known for wearing other luxury brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Dior and Chanel. South Carolina and Staley are looking to win their fourth straight national championship.
