Bengals host NFL draft visit with possible sleeper prospect
The Bengals get a visit set with an overlooked name.
The Cincinnati Bengals will use one of their 30 official visits, collectively known as โTop 30 visitsโ with Wake Forest cornerback Karon Prunty, per ESPNโs Bengals writer Ben Baby . Prunty appeared in 13 games for the Demon Deacons in 2025, posting 40 tackles, one interception, eight passes defended, two tackles for a loss, one sack and one fumble recovery. He earned Third-Team All-ACC honors.
Prunty also played at Kansas and North Carolina A&T. The 6-2, 190lb cornerback is a potential late-round option for the Bengals as they continue to address the cornerback position this offseason. The Bengals recently brought in former Chargers and Jets cornerback JaโSir Taylor and also have also added Bryan Cook and Kyle Duggar at the safety position.
Prunty can work as both a zone and man cornerback and could push for playing time either inside or outside and has shown good ball skills. The Bengals will at least get a closer look at him with this visit. Time will tell if that leads to him having his name called by the team in about three weeks.
