University of Louisville 10 Mile race closes 2026 Triple Crown of Running
The 'Triple Crown of Running,' sponsored by The Courier Journal, concluded its 41st season with the Louisville 10 Mile race. See photos from the event
The final leg of the The Triple Crown of Running , sponsored by The Courier Journal, was held April 4. The popular running series, now in its 41st year, held the The University of Louisville 10 Mile with the finish line on the 50-yard line at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium. The race drew thousands of runners and walkers and included a new distance to the day of racing, an 8K race.
The day also included the Louie Dash, a fun run for kids. Considered a signature running series in the area, The 2026 Triple Crown of Running includes The Whiskey Row 5K , The Derby City 10K and the The University of Louisville 10 Mile . Registration for the 2027 race series will open soon at louisvilletriplecrown.
