They sent two guys to the minor leagues, brought two others up and also shifted some things around on the Injured List. The most obvious demotion candidate was Brendon Little, and he indeed has been sent to Triple-A Buffalo. Little has a 24.

55 ERA this season and has allowed at least one run in five of his six outings out of the bullpen. The Blue Jays also optioned Lazaro Estrada. He'll likely be back, but after such a long (and productive) outing from the bullpen on Saturday, Toronto needed fresh arms on its staff.

Taking over the role of long man will be Austin Voth, who has been called up. The former Washington Nationals right-hander has ample starting experience in pro ball but will work in relief for the Blue Jays. MORE: Jo Adell robbed 3 home runs in the same game The other call-up is a lefty to replace Little, Joe Mantiply.
