They went 0-2-2 during games in Florida this season. There were a lot of “unfortunately’s” being thrown around after the game, but, fortunately for the Bruins, they see the Lightning again, and they still sit comfortably in the first wild card spot. The Bruins are also back on the ice, not even 24 hours later, in a city that is a two-hour flight from Tampa.
In other news, the Bruins had a lot of results go their way yesterday. The Red Wings, Blue Jackets, and Senators, who are all chasing the Bruins, lost. The Red Wings’ loss paved the way for the Lightning and Sabres to punch their ticket to the playoffs.
The Penguins put up nine on the Panthers, which eliminated them from the playoff picture. Elliotte Friedman also has an update on the GM searches that are taking place in Nashville and Toronto. Happy Easter!
