The Huskies are in the middle of spring practice, which means recruits are heading up to campus to check out the program/watch practice. One of those players was 3 star edge Josh Christensen from Lake Oswego HS, OR. Christensen, who is rated as the 92nd best edge in the country by 247sports, was offered after checking out practice yesterday.
Listed at 6’6” and around 250 pounds Christensen has good size already and the frame to potentially grow into a larger edge to help shore up the run. The Huskies have been recruiting Christensen for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger and offer him. So far schools like Northwestern, Illinois, Boise State, WSU, and Oregon State have offered him.
I would keep an eye on him in the coming months as the Huskies look to add a few edges to their roster in the 2027 class. View Link Another visitor on campus this weekend was Tucker Wojdowski from University City HS, CA. Wojdowski, who is not currently rated by 247sports, is an intriguing player who plays edge, OT, and TE for his high school.
Listed at 6’6” and around 230 pounds he has the ability to play both TE or DE in college (as a TE he probably projects more as an in-line TE). So far Wojdowski has seen offers come in from SMU, UNLV, SDSU, and Auburn. I suspect the Huskies are keeping tabs on Wojdowski and are looking at him very closely to see if they will extend an offer to him.
