One Georgia football transfer remains in the portal

Fourteen of Georgia's 15 outgoing transfers found new schools with 11 of those players landing at Power Four destinations. One remains in the portal

The Georgia Bulldogs still have one player that remains in the NCAA transfer portal ahead of the 2026 college football season. Former Georgia offensive lineman Nyier Daniels, who was arrested on over 10 charges in November , still is looking for a college football home. Daniels is a former four-star recruit from New Jersey with excellent size.

The talent is there with Daniels, but his arrest is likely disrupting his college football future. The 6-foot-8, 345-pound offensive lineman appeared in four games during his career with Georgia. Daniels is the lone outgoing Georgia transfer that remains without a destination .

Fourteen of Georgia's 15 exiting transfers left for new schools with 11 of those players landing at Power Four destinations. Just because Daniels does not have a transfer home does not mean that he won't be sought after. The former four-star is one of the better offensive linemen available in the portal.

With there being no spring transfer portal window, Daniels is not about to get more competition in the portal. Teams looking for offensive line help could seek out Daniels provided he clears up his legal situation. Transferring after spring practice is not the end of the world.
