$100k heist? Fans rail against UFC’s ‘pathetic’ picks for Fight of the Night and post-fight bonuses

But UFC Vegas 115 reminded everyone that some of these cards deliver in spades … to the point where the big controversy following the show is all the fighters who got passed over for performance bonuses. Picked for the $100k performance bonuses: Alice Pereira with a big knee KO and Alessandro Costa for his liver shot finish. Fight of the Night went to Tommy McMillen vs.
Manolo Zecchini. Fine finishes, but the best? You know it’s a good night of fights when fans put forward multiple bouts that could have been Fight of the Night.
Other FOTN candidates: Jose Mauro Delano vs. Robert Ruchala, Kai Kamaka vs. Dakota Hope, Tresean Gore vs.
Azamat Bekoev, and Dione Barbosa vs. Melissa Gato. And there were more than a few people upset that Ethyn Ewing and Renato Moicano were overlooked for performance bonuses despite dominant finishes against tougher opposition..
