For Colorado Hockey Now, it also means getting ready to hit the road and bring you the kind of coverage you can’t get from a box score.
Each year, we set up a playoff tip jar to help offset the cost of travel. Covering a series on the road comes together quickly, and expenses like flights, hotels, and transportation add up fast. When you contribute, you’re directly supporting Aarif Deen and the work that goes into covering the team up close.
That includes practices, morning skates, locker room access, and stories from inside the arena during the biggest moments of the season. There’s a real difference between watching from afar and being there in person. Our goal is to bring you closer to the action with detailed, firsthand reporting throughout the playoff run.
