Chelsea are reportedly still in the market for a centre back, whilst they are thought to want to add another midfielder and attacker. Chelsea hold interest in Sunderland goalkeeper Robin Roefs The Blues have also struggled with the goalkeeper position this season, with neither Robert Sanchez or Filip Jorgensen ultimately good enough for where Chelsea want to be. Sanchez was having a good season, but in recent weeks he’s made a number of mistakes, and clearly his confidence has taken a knock after being dropped against Aston Villa.

It’s not currently thought Chelsea are looking to sign a new number one, and they turned down the chance to sign AC Milan’s Mike Maignan last summer. However, according to Football Insider Chelsea hold interest in Sunderland’s Roefs, and are weighing up whether to pay up to £60m for the keeper. The report adds both Manchester City and Liverpool also keeping tabs on the situation surrounding the 23-year-old.

Roefs has kept eight clean sheets in 28 league games this season, compared to Sanchez who’s registered ten in 29 league games.
