Jaguars' Travon Walker details next steps for him following extension

Following Travon Walker's contract extension with the Jacksonville Jaguars , what's next for him as he enters the 2026 season? Injuries were an unfortunate part of Walker's 2025 season. He missed three games, and there were three others where he was on a snap count as he worked his way back.

From there, it's honing in on the little details. "No. 1, my main thing was just working on getting healthy, and then it's just fine-tuning those little small details within my hands, eye coordination, things of that nature," Walker told local reporters after signing his extension.

"Just trying to keep my twitch as far as my strength, mobility, working on a lot of things, but it's basically ironing out some small details. The further you get into your career, it kind of gets harder -- I wouldn't say it gets harder to continuously elevate, but it's just like you gotta find those small little details within your game and continuously work those things. " During the 2023 and 2024 seasons, Walker produced at a steady and relatively high rate.
