Where is the NFC East ranked after NFL free agency?

Two NFC East teams have had a much better offseason than the other two.

It's been a busy offseason for the NFC East. The Washington Commanders spent plenty of money in free agency, the New York Giants made plenty of moves, including landing new coach John Harbaugh, while the Cowboys retained George Pickens and Javonte Williams and traded for Rashan Gary. What about the back-to-back NFC East champion Philadelphia Eagles?

After a disappointing playoff exit, Philadelphia signed cornerback Tariq Woolen and others to cheaper one-year deals. The Eagles still have wide receiver A. J.

Brown โ€” for now โ€” but did lose edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Nakobe Dean. It's too soon to say if the other three NFC East teams did enough to catch Philadelphia. We'll know more after the 2026 NFL Draft.
