Would the Philadelphia Eagles Let Jalen Hurts Walk?
The Eagles' Jalen Hurts hasn't had the best week of publicity, and it just got even worse with this latest report.
The Philadelphia Eagles seem to be at a crossroads as a franchise right now. An interesting spot to be in, considering that this is a team that has been to two Super Bowls in the last four years and has won one of those. Last season, fresh off the franchise's first Super Bowl, while technically successful with an NFC East title, was riddled with turmoil and ended unceremoniously in the first round to a severely undermanned San Francisco 49ers team.
They entered this offseason with a lot of questions and found even more after losing key defensive pieces in free agency, like Reed Blankenship, Nakobe Dean, and Jaelan Phillips. That's not to even mention the pre-existing AJ Brown drama that has yet to be resolved. Last week, it got even worse.
A leak within the organization opened the floodgates for a damning story to be released regarding franchise quarterback Jalen Hurts. After some of the latest reporting from Eagles reporter Jeff McLane, it's gone from bad to worse for Hurts regarding his future in Philadelphia. As previously mentioned, this news is fresh off the bombshell report from Jeremy Fowler that Hurts has reportedly been an 'issue' for the organization, stating things like poor body language, a reluctance to schematic changes, and not being coachable. Now, even more has come out thanks to McLane.
