No. 2 Hawaii dominates No. 5 UC Irvine, remains unbeaten in Big West

Kristian Titriyski put down a season-high 20 kills to lead No. 2 Hawaii to a 25-22, 25-22, 25-22 sweep of No. 5 UC Irvine today at Bren Events Center in Irvine, Calif.

Louis Sakanoko and Adrien Roure added eight kills apiece as all three pin hitters hit . 333 or better for the Rainbow Warriors (23-3, 6-0 Big West), who hit . 453 as a team.

Hawaii can clinch the No. 1 seed in the Outrigger Big West Championship as early as next weekend in two matches against UC San Diego. Starting middle blockers Trevell Jordan and Justin Todd combined for eight kills in nine swings.

William D’Arcy had 13 kills to lead UC Irvine (15-5, 3-3). Hawaii has not lost in nine road matches this season and has swept all three conference opponents on the second night of a back-to-back. UH will fly home on Sunday morning and fly back to Southern California on Wednesday for its final two-match road series of the regular season against the Tritons.
