Five-star combo guard Brandon McCoy committed to Michigan basketball, a major win for the Wolverines' 2026 class.

As Michigan basketball dominates Arizona in the Final Four, likely to make the national championship game, Dusty May got even more good news (even though he's likely unaware of it). The Wolverines had been considered the favorite for 2026 Bellflower (Calif. ) Sierra Canyon five-star combo guard Brandon McCoy, with Maize & Blue Review's Josh Henschke putting in a prediction earlier in the week that he would choose Michigan once he made his choice.
