UFC Vegas 115: Renato Moicano bounces back by making easy work of Chris Duncan
Moicano is back in the win column after two straight losses.
Renato Moicano got a much-needed win at UFC Vegas 115 on Saturday, at the expense of a familiar face. The Brazilian made easy work of past training partner Chris Duncan, forcing the Scotsman to tap out in the second round via rear-naked choke. Itโs a bounce back for a fighter who took consecutive losses against then-UFC lightweight champ Islam Makhachev and Beneil Dariush in 2025.
Duncan entered the fight on a four-bout win streak, but represented less of a challenge. Both fighters are members of American Top Team, and it was Moicano who seemed to benefit from the mutual familiarity. He had the clear advantage throughout the fight, negating all offense from Duncan with a firm jab until he reached the decisive position on the ground.
