" Brayden Burries has only been playing college basketball for a year and he’s already one of the biggest stars in the NCAA Men’s Final Four this year. Brayden grew up in San Bernardino, California, attending Riverside Polytechnic High School before transferring to Eleanor Roosevelt High School after his freshman year.
As a senior, he won the California CIF State Basketball Championship with Roosevelt and was selected to play in the 2025 McDonald's All-American Boys Game. After some wooing from multiple college programs , he now plays for the Arizona Wildcats of the Big 12 Conference. The 2026 NBA draft is expected to take place in late June.
In a recent mock draft from USA Today , Brayden is already considered so talented he could go in the first round. (That doesn’t mean he has confirmed or announced anything yet. ) “Burries has also looked like a lottery talent during March Madness, earning a spot in the Sweet 16,” wrote Bryan Kalbrosky, USA Today ’s senior NBA staff writer.
