Oklahoma State football lands quarterback Carson White in 2027 recruiting class
Oklahoma State football has its first commitment of the 2027 recruiting class in Houston-area quarterback Carson White.
STILLWATER โ It seems fitting that the first recruiting commitment in Eric Morrisโ 2027 class at Oklahoma State would be a quarterback. Carson White โ a three-star prospect from Iowa Colony, Texas โ committed to the Cowboys on Saturday, becoming the first player in the class. The 6-foot-1, 207-pound White had more than 20 scholarship offers from the likes of Baylor, Houston, UCF, Texas Tech, Utah, Nebraska, Auburn, Kentucky, Kansas, Kansas State and others.
As a junior at Iowa Colony โ a small community located south of Houston โ White threw for 1,963 yards with 32 touchdowns and six interceptions, completing 63% of his passes. He also rushed for 678 yards and 15 TDs. He visited Stillwater early last month during what has been a busy recruiting period for the new OSU coaching staff. Morris, who has gained a reputation for his ability to identify and develop quarterbacks , has said since arriving that he likes recruiting athletes who play multiple positions. And that has been particularly true at the quarterback position.
