WATCH: Jeremiah Smith makes catch in double coverage during practice
Ohio State football held its Student Appreciation Day practice on Saturday and Jeremiah Smith did Jeremiah Smith things once again.
The Ohio State football team was back at it again on Saturday with a special practice, as Student Appreciation Day took center stage. There was a good contingent of students there to take it all in, but there were also plenty of media members who got a look at the comings and goings in the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Probably to nobody's surprise, one of those comings and goings involved superstar wide receiver, Jeremiah Smith .
The team broke out into a controlled scrimmage at one point during the event, and Smith made a catch that not many in the game are able to pull off. While under duress, quarterback Julian Sayin threw a ball off his back foot, in the direction of Smith (never a bad idea), into the corner of the endzone. It didn't matter that the best player in college football was double-covered; he used his instincts, body control, and hands to pull in the catch for a touchdown in the red zone.
