He’s not going on the IL yet, but the Mets will take it day by day. " It seems like there's still a chance the Mets put Soto on the IL, but it's encouraging that it hasn't happened thus far. The Mets originally announced Friday that Soto had been removed with "right calf tightness.
" A popular social media doctor, Jesse Morse, chimed in with his take on the situation. "Juan Soto is dealing with a calf injury," Morse wrote on X (formerly Twitter) . "Best case scenario this is just mild tweak and not actually a strain.
