Raiders to hold official visit with potential mid-round gem X receiver

•Yahoo Sports

The Raiders need an X receiver and are hosting under-the-radar high-ceiling small school guy Ted Hurst.

Every team can use a good X receiver. But not every team has one. And they don't just grow on trees.

Raiders brass and coaches have noted this offseason several times that it isn't the easiest thing to find a good one. They didn't sign one in free agency, so the next place to look is the draft. And they are doing their homework to see what talent there is at that spot.

They are among 12 teams to set up a visit with Georgia State WR Ted Hurst in the coming days. Georgia State WR Ted Hurst, one of the busiest draft prospects, has a visit on Monday with the #Dolphins , then he has the #Colts , source said. In all, the 6-foot-4 Hurst has 12 visits and workouts, including with the #Vikings , #Raiders , and #Falcons , as well.
