The Los Angeles Dodgers are facing the Washington Nationals on the East Coast to begin their first road trip of the 2026 regular season, and after their big 13-6 win on Friday night, they began their game a good bit earlier on Saturday. They jumped out to an early lead in the game, thanks to a Freddie Freeman double that scored Mookie Betts and Kyle Tucker. But, unfortunately for the Dodgers, Betts left the game after scoring on that hit.
Not long after Betts left, the Dodgers announced what happened to Betts, revealing a back issue that's a concerning problem to keep a close eye on going forward.
