The action was closed to the local media, but first-year coach Ryan Silverfield held a press conference recapping the event. Silverfield said the Razorbacks went for roughly 95 plays with 1s vs.
1s and 2s vs. 2s. The Hogs didn't do any situational work, lining the ball up at the 25-yard line and letting the offense and defense go at it.
The head coach was pleased with his team's effort and enjoyed teachable moments that he hopes will lead to victories when the Razorbacks head inside their home stadium on Saturdays during the fall. Silverfield didn't express many frustrations, but there was at least one alarming revelation.
