Brewers manager Pat Murphy got some more laughs after pulling a live tortoise out during Apple TV's broadcast from Friday's rainout.

Indeed, that's the gambit by Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy, who prior to his team's rained-out game against the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium on Friday, April 3 unveiled the surprise reptile to Apple TV sideline reporter Tricia Whitaker – the very same media member who was holding the microphone last season when Murphy became a viral sensation for pulling a pancake out of the pocket of his jacket and taking a bite on live TV during a game at Nationals Park. Murphy – always the character – later explained to Whitaker he decided on his way to the ballpark earlier Friday to try and get some more laughs by pulling an animal out of his pocket during the broadcast and after getting suggestions from players like a gerbil or hamster ultimately settled on the four-legged creature he ultimately presented Whitaker.

Welp……. The Brewers now have a pet turtle. A pocket turtle.
