C.

Sasaki got through four innings on Monday against the Cleveland Guardians , with more strikeouts (four) than walks (two) and threw more strikes (45) than balls (33). That may sound like damning with faint praise, but it was a total turnaround from his abysmal spring training , and he saw positive results in allowing only one run in his four-plus frames. Left-hander Foster Griffin starts the finale for the Nationals.
