Matthews is the No. 5 overall prospect and top-ranked tackle in the 2027 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking , a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies.
He’s also the No. 1 recruit in the Sunshine State. Miami continues to hold the edge for the 6-foot-5, 300-pounder, according to the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine.
