If we’re honest – and I think most people are about this – there was not a great deal of hype surrounding the Spring Game this year. However, 27,188 Husker faithful showed up and, once piled in to the lower bowls of east and west stadium for TV, seemed to enjoy themselves a great deal. 🌽🏈 Here’s how 27,188 Spring Game attendance can look much fuller when they’re packed in for television.

Our first question was simple – which player popped for you the most? And, surprisingly to me, there was a solid majority who wasn’t Jamal Rule. Question #2 involved the Huskers Softball team who who won a series with #7 UCLA and in so doing rose as high as #4 in the national rankings, and, more importantly, #2 in the national RPI.

The #2 was short-lived, however. A Tuesday night 8-2 victory over Creighton – ranked #151 in RPI – dealt a negative jab to the formula and the Huskers dropped back to #3. The lesson, as always?
