I often buy soccer jerseys when I’m traveling. I have many of them now and I use them when I play tennis or squash. Yesterday (yesterday from when I’m typing this), I wore a Newcastle United jersey.
A fellow stopped me, telling my that Newcastle was his team (and, he didn’t have to tell me, he had a northerner accent). I wore one last week from the Casablanca, Morocco club and another fellow stopped me, saying he was from Morocco. I told him how much we enjoyed our time there (until Covid became a thing and we had to find a way out of the country).
