Steelers insider dismisses Aaron Rodgers to Broncos buzz

Yahoo Sports

According to Mark Kaboly, Aaron Rodgers won't be heading to the Denver Broncos, and his signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers is an "almost done deal."

The Aaron Rodgers to the Denver Broncos rumor seemingly came out of nowhere, but one insider has not only dismissed the speculation, but also claimed a signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers is imminent. On Thursday's episode of the Kaboly + Mack podcast, Steelers insider Mark Kaboly claimed the Steelers were very close to striking a deal with the 42-year-old veteran quarterback and categorized the Rodgers-to-Denver narrative as "misinformation. " "I can't even describe to you how much of an almost done deal this is," Kaboly said about Rodgers coming to Pittsburgh.

"There's a lot of misinformation out there, one would be that he would go to Denver. I don't know if Denver's interested. Nothing makes sense to me on that one.

" Earlier in the week, Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio claimed that the Broncos could bring Rodgers in for a visit if starting quarterback Bo Nix wouldn't be at full health to start the regular season. But it's evident Kaboly isn't buying into that piece of speculation. Hopefully, Rodgers can sign with Pittsburgh sooner rather than later to put an end to the never-ending guessing game as to what the four-time MVP is planning for his 2026 season.
