Chelsea earned a corner almost straight from kick off, and the Blues hung in a nice effort right under the ball. The away team struggled to clear it, and it dropped directly to Jorrel Hato. The defender scored in the previous round against Charlton, and was on hand here to lash in another.

They will be hoping to score another one (or maybe even two) in this first half, then make early changes to get some youngsters on the pitch and give a break to some of the players who played during the international break.
In other news… Before kick off, Liam Rosenior explained his decision to make Cole Palmer captain. The other major team news for us was the absence of Josh Acheampong, who simply can’t get a game. We’re very worried about his future.
