It was a memorable 2025 for the Elkhart boys golf team. For the first time in school history, the Lions advanced to the state finals, won a sectional title, qualified for the regional, and won a Northern Indiana Conference title. The Lions are striving for more success this year.

“We’re excited to tee it up this spring to see where we stack up with the area as well as with the state’s high school golfers,” said Elkhart coach Todd King, who led his squad to a 16-1 record a year ago, with four invitational titles. “With a continued positive focus, I feel we have a very good opportunity this season to have a competitive season. ” Sophomore Ben Divido heads the list of returning golfers for the Lions.

Divido tied for 12th last year at the state finals after shooting a two-over par 146. Divido was also the medalist at the regional (70) and at the NIC tournament (71) and was second at the sectional (70). The lineup will also feature junior Cameron Miller, senior Nathan Windy, sophomore Ryan Molyneaux and freshman Brendan Divido.
