Now, more than ever, the Wisconsin Badgers have a chance to build a quality roster thanks to the transfer portal. The team has done just that in recent years, adding the likes of A. J.

Storr, John Tonje and Nick Boyd. The portal certainly isn't going to be cheap this time around, but Wisconsin can put its focus towards players that will add a lot to the team, but maybe won't break the bank. Longtime head coach Greg Gard hasn't always focused on in-state players, but that's something he might want to do this time around, as there are two who recently entered the portal that are worth a look.

1. Chevalier Emery Emery likely wouldn't come to Wisconsin as a day-one starter, but he is fresh off a successful junior season with Cleveland State, where he was named the Horizon League Sixth Man of the Year. The Appleton, Wisconsin, native has played for a trio of teams in his first three seasons that also includes Merrimack and Western Carolina.

Sam Kayser broke the news that Emery would be entering the portal after he averaged a career-high 12. 7 points per game. Keep in mind, Emery has shot at least 131 three-pointers in each of his last two seasons and he was 38.

2% from long range with the Vikings. 2. Stevie Clark Wisconsin knows it'll need some of its bench players to step up, as replacing star guard Nick Boyd won't be easy.
