Who did the Bucs land in NFL Network's 5-Round NFL Mock Draft?

The Bucs load up on defense in latest mock draft from NFL Network.

The 2026 NFL Draft will take place in Pittsburgh this month, a city where the Bucs could select the next star they add to their roster in hopes of righting the proverbial ship. Before then, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup for the team and who they may add to the roster through the draft. Thankfully, we now have some added context for players now that the scouting combine has come and gone.

NFL Network's Chad Reuter recently released the latest 2026 NFL mock draft of the cycle, which has the team going in the defensive direction with Miami edge rusher Akheem Mesidor. Arguably, the Edge2 in this class, Mesidor, is an older prospect but is one who is more refined than most in the class. Reuter explains the Mesidor pick, writing, "Mesidor stays in state to fill a pass-rushing void for the Bucs.

His age (he will be 25 when the season begins) shouldn't concern general manager Jason Licht, because Tampa needs polished players to contend for a Super Bowl in 2026. " The mock draft goes beyond one round, though, as he dove into five full rounds. The rest of the mock gave the Bucs the following players: Jacob Rodriguez, LB, Texas Tech Davison Igbinosun, CB, Ohio State Ja'Kobi Lane, WR, USC Kaleb Proctor, DL, Southeastern Louisiana Several needs get addressed this way, with Rodriguez emerging to be the largest impact player as he would be expected to start on day one.
