Madison Keys drops a hint about life after tennis — and it’s very exciting

And, in 2025, she was one of two Americans to win a Grand Slam title, beating Aryna Sabalenka in the Australian Open final. It marked a heroic culmination of years of hard work and means that whenever she retires, she can do so knowing she’s accomplished something most could only dream of.

Rather ironically, the concept of retirement was mentioned rather recently, discussing what she might do when she calls time on her playing career. Keys spoke about how much fun she’s having with the podcast, even mentioning that it’s made her think about taking on a pundit role once her playing days are over.

The American said: “It’s definitely been a lot of fun. “It’s always fascinating for us to see what fans want to know. Obviously, we get to the press conferences and receive these questions, and we know what to expect, while the fans sometimes focus on it differently, and it’s very fun to talk about something a little different.

I think it’s also fun to give our perspective on things. ” “I think that sometimes there are so many things that are happening that no one understands, what we think about certain things. This is opening my eyes to maybe having a new job after tennis.
