After submitting a fan with a choke, Tsarukyan is already eyeing more matches, and he’s set to stay active in the grappling scene for the foreseeable future. He’s scheduled to return at RAF 6 next month for a bout against Urijah Faber, but given how frequently he’s been competing, that may not be the only event he has lined up.

Tony Ferguson shared some details during an interview with SiriusXM’s Unlocking The Cage With Jimmy Smith, where he discussed the negotiations with Arman Tsarukyan and UFC BJJ. Ferguson mentioned that both sides have expressed interest in making it happen, indicating that talks are underway between his camp and Tsarukyan’s team. During the post-event press conference, Claudia Gadelha—UFC BJJ’s head of jiu-jitsu strategy and business development—fielded a question about Arman Tsarukyan. There’s been some speculation about a potential matchup between Tsarukyan and Mikey Musumeci, after an exchange between the two sparked fan interest. Dana White was asked about the matchup after UFC Seattle and said that if Gadelha wanted it to happen, it would happen.

“I talked to Arman last week, he wants to do it,” she said. “He said yes to the match but he has some agreements with the UFC. He has to talk to Hunter [Campbell] and see when his next fight in the UFC is and then we might see that happen in August.
