The Kansas City Chiefs are continuing their efforts to sanction girls' high school flag football in Kansas. In a recently released 'Let Her Play' video campaign, many famous fans and current players, including head coach Andy Reid, call for supporters to support the petition . According to the team website, on Thursday, April 23rd, the Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) will vote on whether to sanction girls' flag football as an official high school sport.

"That young girl from Olathe comes back with a medal around her neck, she'll have the opportunity potentially to play professional flag football in a league that's going to be started and owned by the National Football League," Chiefs team president Mark Donovan said at the Olathe Chamber of Commerce Luncheon last month. "and one that I would tell you without making any promises, the Kansas City Chiefs will be heavily involved in and potentially play for a Chiefs' version of professional flag football. " The vote will take place on April 23rd at 3 pm (CT) at the KSHSAA office, 601 SW Commerce Place, Topeka, Kansas.
