A fastball up and in is a spooky sight. Two in a row? Extra scary, especially when the second one does indeed hit the batter.
That's what happened to Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout on Friday night against the Seattle Mariners and right-handed pitcher Bryan Woo. It was the first inning, Trout up with one out and none on. In a 1-0 count, Woo's fastball came dangerously close to Trout's head.
