3 Steelers who could be traded during the 2026 NFL Draft
There are more than a few Pittsburgh Steelers would could be dealt during the 2026 NFL Draft.
Trade rumors and the NFL Draft go hand-in-hand like Ben Roethlisberger owning the Cleveland Browns — it just feels right. As the Pittsburgh Steelers rapidly approach the 2026 NFL Draft , there are several players who could be traded at the event. From an expendable quarterback to a wide receiver who just hasn't found his fit with Pittsburgh, here are three potential Steelers who could be traded during the 2026 NFL Draft.
Quarterback Mason Rudolph If the Steelers ultimately decide to select a quarterback in the 2026 NFL Draft, don't be surprised if Rudolph winds up as draft capital. With Will Howard and potentially Aaron Rodgers as guaranteed roster locks, Rudolph would be the odd man out if a rookie signal-caller enters the mix. Linebacker Patrick Queen Queen has been the subject of multiple trade rumors this offseason but has remained on the roster thus far.
However, the 2026 NFL Draft could be a completely different story, especially if the Steelers are looking at a historically great linebacker class. Wide receiver Roman Wilson Wilson hasn't quite lived up to the hype through two years, but it's not entirely his fault — the opportunity just hasn't been there. And that's not likely to change anytime soon, with DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman expected to be the top receivers for the foreseeable future.
