Isak has been out for months, ever since breaking his leg against Tottenham Hotspur back in December. It’s been a tough season overall for Isak, who arrived at the end of the summer transfer window for a British record transfer fee. Liverpool went all-in on him as the main man in their attack - but it certainly hasn’t worked out that way.
Instead, Isak struggled for fitness and once he finally started getting a run of games, he fractured his leg. Incredibly, he’s set to play again and Arne Slot confirmed that the player may feature against Manchester City in Saturday’s FA Cup tie. It would be a massive boost for Liverpool.
