TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – A dramatic finish in Manhattan. K-State baseball (20-10, 5-5 Big 12) walked off TCU (18-11, 5-5 Big 12), winning 13-12 in Game 1 of the series. Dee Kennedy hit a sac-fly in the ninth to bring home Ty Smolinski to power the Wildcats to the win.

Kennedy finished with two RBIs in the win. The Wildcats scored 13 runs on 13 hits and recorded two errors in the win. Calos Vasquez and Cadyn Karl had three RBIs each in the win.

Vasquez had an RBI single in the first and a two-run home run in the third. Karl had a three-run home run in the third as well. The Wildcats went through four pitchers in the win.
