LBJ senior Louis Hickman Jr. posted the fastest 100 meters at Texas Relays. He'll be favored in the finals Saturday at Mike Myers Stadium on the UT campus.

4 seconds in the 100 meters on Friday was filled with mistakes. That doesn't bode well for his opponents when the finals in that event convene at the Texas Relays Saturday at Mike Myers Stadium. Hickman, also a valuable member of the LBJ football team, was critical of his preliminary run, even though he crossed the tape in first place.

"I even stumbled. I'll run 10 times harder and way better (Saturday). My coach (Leslie Riggins) teaches me to be technically good, asking me to pick my knees up.
