Seminoles extend nation’s longest winning streak

Florida State kept its national-best win streak going in dominant fashion on Friday, run-ruling Notre Dame to advance to 34-4 (11-0 ACC) on the season. The Seminoles held the Irish to just one hit, earning the team’s 10th shutout of the year. Florida State’s offense broke through in the bottom of the second when Ashtyn Danley doubled to left center and scored on a triple to right field by Hayley Griggs.

Makenna Sturgis drove in Griggs on a groundout and Isa Torres followed with a solo home run to deep right field to make it 3-0. Yeah, we needed a second look👀👀👀 #Team43 pic. twitter.
