Not long after it was reported that the Jaguars and Travon Walker agreed to an extension, Josh Hines-Allen responded to the news.

Following the news that the Jacksonville Jaguars and Travon Walker agreed to terms on a contract extension, Josh Hines-Allen responded to the news. "You deserve every penny!!! " Hines-Allen posted on X.

@44Ytw you deserve every penny!!! — Joshua Hines-Allen (@JoshHinesAllen) April 3, 2026 The Jaguars signed Walker to a four-year deal worth $110 million total and includes $77 million in guarantees, $50 million of which is fully guaranteed at signing. Injuries limited Walker’s production totals last season, but during both of the 2023 and 2024 seasons, he posted 10-plus sacks each year and ranked top-25 among defensive ends in quarterback pressures, according to PFF.

The extension showcases the belief that the Jaguars have in Walker to return to that form. Not to be overlooked either are Walker’s contributions against the run, where he has been quite good. He brings a well-rounded skill set to the Jaguars’ defensive front, impacting the game in a variety of ways.

The combination of Walker and Hines-Allen over the years have generated a very large percentage of the Jaguars total pass rush production. At a minimum, Hines-Allen and Walker are under contract together for the next three seasons.
