Brooklyn Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez announced on Friday that forwards Michael Porter Jr. and Danny Wolf are out for the rest of this season.

NEW YORK -- The Brooklyn Nets are nearing the end of their 2025-26 NBA season and as of now, they are trying to finish the year on a strong note. Brooklyn has been dealing with some key injuries in their rotation as this season comes to an end and it seems like the bad news continues to get worse with two players being ruled out for the rest of the season. "With Mike and Danny, based on where we are right now and based on where theyโ€™re at with their rehab, and we only have one week left, theyโ€™ll be out just from where they are," Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez said prior to Friday's game against the Atlanta Hawks.

Forwards Michael Porter Jr. and Danny Wolf have been out of the lineup for some time with their respective injuries, but it looks like they won't be able to return in time. "So, thatโ€™s the update of those two," Fernandez continued.

Porter has missed time recently due to an ankle sprain and a hamstring strain while Wolf suffered a left ankle sprain during the team's four-game west coast road trip. In addition to rookie guard Egor Demin and backup center Day'Ron Sharpe, Porter and Wolf will end their seasons having shown plenty of what they should be able to offer on the court next season. Porter, 27 , will end this season with the best performance of his career with averages of 24.
