What happened between Dawn Staley and Geno Auriemma after Final Four?
Okay, what happened here?!
The end of Friday night's South Carolina-UConn Final Four game got ugly between coaches Dawn Staley and Geno Auriemma. After Auriemma accused Staley's team of playing rough and called Staley out in particular earlier in the game, the two coaches got into a heated exchange with a smidge of time left on the clock. Things got so bad that Auriemma stormed off the court after his terse encounter with Staley.
We're not entirely sure what happened between these two, and Staley even told ESPN's Holly Rowe after the game she had no definitive idea what happened to make Auriemma so mad. Geno Auriemma exchanged words with Dawn Staley in the final seconds of South Carolina and UConn’s Final Four matchup. pic.
