After Germany-Switzerland, Granit Xhaka asked Jonathan Tah about Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany

Switzerland — a 4-3 victory for the German MNT — at the end of March. And what better topic for conversation than Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany? From Sky Germany, as captured by @iMiaSanMia : Former Leverkusen teammates Jonathan Tah and Granit Xhaka had a chat in the dressing room area after last night’s game.
Xhaka was curious to know about Vincent Kompany, and asked Tah about the coach – the German defender had only praise for the Belgian, saying that Kompany was a top coach. Xhaka also wanted to know what Kompany was like on a personal level. Tah had nothing but positive things to say about him as well [@SkySportDE] BFW Commentary If there’s a hint of transfer intrigue…it is probably nothing.
With Leon Goretzka departing, maybe there is in fact room for a veteran presence in the Bayern midfield next year. But Xhaka has a contract at Sunderland through 2028 and turns 34 next Fall. The former Arsenal man is not likely coming to the Bayern midfield anytime soon, or ever.
