While Trimble was the third scoring option behind Caleb Wilson and Henri Veesaar, he was the team’s most important player as its leader and the only one who spent all four seasons in Chapel Hill.

He also recorded four 20-point games — after having just one over his first three seasons — and finished with a 16. 6% assist rate, the best mark of his career. He was an excellent slasher, shooting 79-for-123 (64.
