The New Jersey Devils star was all smiles at the game, showing off his new pearly whites after over a month with broken teeth from the U. S. 's gold medal-winning game at the 2026 Milan Games.
Hughes' bloodied mouth became an instantly iconic moment at the Olympics, after the NHL star took a stick to the mouth from a player on Team Canada just a few minutes before winning the game — and the U. S. 's first gold since 1980 — with his overtime goal.
